The six featured races are outlined below with the R&S team providing pre-race previews to give you a head start on the form.

Rosehill Race 7 - George Ryder Stakes - 1500m

Golden Rose Stakes winner MILITARIZE (16) can be the first 3yo since Pierro to take this out. Solid again at second run back when a nose second over 1600m in the G1 Randwick Guineas on March 9. J Mac keeps the ride and gets conditions to suit. ENCAP (18) another of the 3yos who's raced without luck all prep. Drifted back early and gave them a big start before getting out late to secure fifth in the G1 Randwick Gneas over 1600m. Can hold a forward position today and prove hard to stop. Stradbroke Handicap winner THINK ABOUT IT (1) was well-supported on resumption but found one better when second over 1300m in the G1 Canterbury Stakes at Randwick on March 9. Stretches out to the 1500m today and will need everything to go right from the draw. Multiple Group 2 winner PERICLES (3) has a fitness edge over most of these fourth-up and finished a close-up second in the Golden Eagle over this track and trip last year. A repeat of that run will see him right in the calculations.

Rosehill Race 8 - Golden Slipper - 1200m

Top edition of the Golden Slipper. Group 2 winner STORM BOY (1) is undefeated in four runs and was seven weeks between starts when a comfortable 1.4 len win as fav over 1200m in the G2 Skyline at Randwick on March 2. At his peak now and should remain undefeated. SWITZERLAND (7) is another undefeated in three runs who keeps raising the bar at each start. Rounded them up effortlessly when a dominant winner of the G2 Todman Stakes at Randwick on March 9. Will relish the good tempo and sure to be strong late. LADY OF CAMELOT (14) was sent to Melbourne after winning the Widden in good style when nailed late to finish second over 1200m in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield. Since fitted with a slashing trial win over 800m at Hawkesbury. Value play. Group 2 winner STRAIGHT CHARGE (6) is yet to finish out of the money in four runs. Went out hard and collared late when second in the G2 Todman Stakes at Randwick. Can sneak into the minor money.

Moonee Valley Race 8 - William Reid Stakes - 1200m

IMPERATRIZ (5) was beaten in the G1 Newmarket Handicap but was fantastic with 58kg, giving 6.5kg to the winner and pulling up with EIPH. On ratings she's run up to all her Group 1 wins prior, two of which came here at Moonee Valley. Back to weight-for-age, she should let rip and win. BELLA NIPOTINA (6) was also good in the Newmarket. She's a Group 1 winner over this route and does love Moonee Valley. Danger. CYLINDER (10) of course won the Newmarket with 51.5kg. He's a good colt who did run 5th in The Everest at weight-for-age in the Spring. Don't write him off completely. HYPOTHETICAL (9) tried very hard in the Oakleigh Plate and can give some cheek around here. I AM ME (7) kept measuring up last campaign and can get into the finish while fresh.

Rosehill Race 9 - The Galaxy - 1100m

Group 2 winner AFT CABIN (5) is a smart entire who resumed over an unsuitable trip with a slashing third over 1000m in the G2 Challenge Stks at Randwick on March 9. Fitter now and will relish the sharp drop in weight. OZZMOSIS (13) was a dominant winner of the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes over 1200m last November. Undefeated first-up and over this trip. Fitted with two slick trials and reported to have come back even stronger. PRIVATE EYE (1) two runs back over unsuitable trips have been sound, including latest sixth over 1000m in the G2 Challenge Stks at Randwick. Undefeated this distance and watch for him swooping late. Multiple Group 2 winner PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE (10) returned from a lengthy break with a slick win over 1000m in the G2 Challenge Stakes at Randwick. Goes just as well second-up and drops 2kg in weight for this. The chances don't end there!

Moonee Valley Race 9 - Don Casboult Classic  1200m

GUMDROPS (4) is a lightly raced filly who was good first-up in a handy 3yo race at Flemington, beaten 2 lengths. She won both races last time in, including a Listed win at this track and trip which ties in quite a few of these. Good chance. INHIBITIONS (6) was just edged out first-up at Flemington conceding weight to the others in the finish. She'll put herself in a good spot and prove hard to catch. BRAZEN STYLE (3) was good at Caulfield first up behind Estriella who has won again since, sticking on strongly for 3rd. She struggled down the straight last time but can bounce back around a bend. LAZZAGO (2) comes through the same two races a Brazen Style. The draw does her no favours. COUNTYOURBLESSINGS (15) is the one with upside who could measure up.

Moonee Valley Race 10 - Handicap (1200m)

Tricky race. GRAND IMPACT (2) was a very promising 3yo who has been off for over a year now since his run in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes. He's trialled well for the return and if he runs up to his level of ability he looks well placed. XTRAVAGANT STAR (13) was quite good first up at Rosehill, beaten a long neck. That form has stood up well and with added fitness, she'll be hard to beat. BOLDINHO (3) hasn't been far away of late and 1200m looks a good spot for him. Drawn wide but if he can find a spot he's right in the mix. IS IT ME (10) resumes off a short spell. He was in good form last time in and can run well. DEEKAY (9) next best.
