Kranji.
Kranji.

RACE 1

KRANJI GOLD (1) – This five-year-old ran a more encouraging race last time out and given the extremely healthy strike that Ricardo Le Grange and Michael Rodd have (10-5 - 50%), his chance is a serious one.
ROYAL PAVILION (3) – A last-start victor just over three months ago and has changed yard in that time. He has 3.5kgs more to carry but certainly looks one of the more likely winners here. Should go very close.
LIM'S FORCE (6) – Steven Burridge's mare has been struggling of late, but the handicapper has given her some sort of chance now with a two-point drop. She might well prove the value in this heat.
GOLDEN THUNDER (5) – Tough in defeat last time out and handles conditions fine. Top 4 material.

RACE 2

EASY SOUTH EAST (2) – This four-year-old might be the way to play a competitive little Open Maiden with quite a few chances in it. The last-start effort can be forgiven, and his form prior is good.
STAR FIFTYTWO (6) – Was running home strongly last time when a third placing was the best that could be achieved. He is still learning and should make his presence felt here.
COMING THROUGH (3) – A trial winner at his only attempt prior to this debut. He is a half-brother to the four-time Malaysian winner Big Role and looks ready for a big show on his first racecourse appearance.
GOLDEN KID (4) – Two sound efforts so far for a couple of thirds. He was boxing on only fairly last time out and a couple of these might have a little too much pace for him again.

RACE 3

SOLDADO (1) – A good win last time out and is now up six points for that success. Life gets a bit tougher, but he has an excellent apprentice jockey in Simon Kok Wei Hoong booked and this isn't Kranji's strongest Class 4.
NORTHERN SUN (10) – Has been running well off slightly higher marks and has a nice light weight to carry here. Place chance at very least.
JUSTICE LIGHT (4) – Ease a point for his last start effort when fourth to the smart Excelling. He has a good draw to go forward and Joseph See takes off a handy two kilos as well.
LIM'S PASSION (5) – One must be of an extremely forgiving nature after a massive flop last time when stopping very quickly but if he is able to bounce back, he is not without a chance back on Polytrack.

RACE 4

LORD OF CLOUD (1) – A few of his followers believe he has outstayed his welcome at 'Last Chance Saloon' but this race looks very winnable off a two-point higher mark than his last win. Give him one last chance.
SUN SNIPER (4) – Represents top connections and looked sure to benefit from a step-up in trip on the back of his local debut behind Strap Marks last month. Should be in the thick of it at the business end.
RUNMINDERBINDERRUN (8) – Scored only a Class 5 victory last time out but was visually very impressive. More is needed but Stephen Gray's team are in excellent form and should be considered here.
BLACK QUAIL (5) – A pace angle here and should give another bold showing.

RACE 5

GANGNAM CLASSIC (9) – Up two points for a good solid second last time on the Polytrack. This is not a strong race by any stretch and is one of the better chances in the race.
WILDFIRE (5) – A return to this course and distance would be an obvious plus judged on his run on July 12.
LIM'S HONOUR (1) – Runner-up in a pair of Open Maidens in June over 1600m and this course and distance. Only his second try in the grade and is back in trip.
LUCKY TIGER (4) – Could prove to be the best of the rest here.

RACE 6

GREEN STAR (3) – Racing well without winning. Maps to roll forward and take up a prominent role and with the rail out, that will play into his favour. Commands respect.
RAPIDASH (6) – Broke maiden status in good style last start. This is tougher but his trackwork since has indicated that he has thrived. Major player.
STREET PARTY (4) – Returns to the races after contesting the Singapore Guineas. Will take benefit from this outing but brings a class edge, so keep safe. In the mix.
COMMAND ROYALE (2) – Drew poorly last start. Can take up a more prominent role in this affair from the good gate, so don't dismiss. Worth including for the minor end.

RACE 7

WOLF WARRIOR (2) – Improved sharply last start when getting back onto the Poly. That race was some time ago (July 7) now, but the horse has been working well since and with Michael Rodd booked, expect him to prove hard to beat.
FORESTO (6) – Is an in-form horse and gets boom apprentice Simon Kok Wei Hoong on board here. Gets in light at the weights with the claim and should prove a danger.
SUPERNOVA (4) – Is an amazing horse. At 11 years of age, he still retains a zest for racing. Trialled well recently and can give a bold sight up on the pace.
CHOCOLATS (5) – Hasn't raced on the Polytrack for a while but is proven on the surface. Can roll forward and sit up on the pace here. Respect.

RACE 8

LIM'S KNIGHT (2) – Racing well now and would once again have a very good chance under these conditions.
RED DAWN (1) – Back into Class 4 is a massive tick of approval for this fellow and the booking of Simon Kok Wei Hoong is an added bonus for his followers.
SUPER WIN (8) – Goes best for Matthew Kellady and did so last time when reunited with the rider. He is holding his form nicely and another solid run is expected.
YULONG FAST STEED (9) – Needs them to go as quick as possible to be seen to best effect late but there is no guarantee they will go hard enough for him here.
