The Martyn Meade-trained Advertise (Showcasing x Furbelow by Pvotal) gave champion jockey Frankie Dettori his 12th G1 win in the last nine weeks when he beat fellow UK sprinters Brando (Pivotal) and Space Blues (Dubawi).

It was his fifth win in nine career starts and second G1 win this season after his win in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot prior to his second placing in the G1 July Cup at Newmarket won by Ten Sovereigns. He also won the G1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh and finished second in Newmarket's G1 Dewhurst Stakes as a juvenile.

Meade said the G1 Haydock Sprint Cup could be next for Advertise as owners Phoenix Thoroughbreds weigh up when and where he will start his stud career.

"He's done everything he needs to do," Meade said. "You have to finish on a high, so I'm going to be pretty positive where we put him next time, I'm not just going to throw him in for the chance.

"We're not just in it for the prize-money, we're in it to make a really nice stallion and I think he's proving that's what he is."

The Australasian market is very familiar with the progeny of Showcasing with Phoenix Thoroughbreds CEO Amer Abdulaziz already confirming that a shuttle career is planned for Advertise.

Aquis Farm already has a strong connection with Phoenix Thoroughbreds and seems eager to grow their portfolio of shuttle sires.

Aquis had agreed to stand the Phoenix-owned Aclaim, a G1-winning son of Acclamation, this spring before his first shuttle season in Australia as cancelled due to a foot injury.

Advertise is one of two winners from Furbelow, a sister to the Listed winner Red Diadem and a half sister to Adorn (Kyllachy), the dam of G3 winner Saayerr (Acclamation).

Advertise's third dam is the G2 winner Heart Of Joy (Lypheor), dam of the Japanese stakes winner Meiner Love (Seeking The Gold). Heart Of Joy's daughters have produced stakes winners in the US.
