Grafton Trainer Injured In Track Fall

Thursday, 20 June 2019: Grafton trainer Scott Henley has suffered serious injuries in a trackwork accident.

Henley was injured on Wednesday when he suffered a fall while riding one of his in work on the Grafton course.

He was taken by ambulance to Coffs Harbour Hospital suffering from back and neck injuries.

Scans revealed he has four broken ribs and a compressed lung and an injury to his right arm but has not suffered any spinal injuries.

He is to undergo an MRI scan on Friday to investigate if a rib is compressing a nerve.
