Friday, 7 June 2019: Experienced thoroughbred expert Ruick Connolly has joined the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott stable as their bloodstock manager.

Connolly has worked in many racing and breeding roles since he began his career in the bloodstock industry as an Inglis employee.

He moved on to a management position at Woodlands Stud under the Ingham ownership before being appointed General Manager of Patinack Farm.

Most recently, Connolly has been bloodstock manager for leading interstate trainer Tony McEvoy and his McEvoy Mitchell Racing stable.

“We are really excited to have Rick on board," said Adrian Bott.

"Both Gai and I look forward to drawing on his knowledge and experience in the industry.

"Rick will form an integral part of our management team as we continually strive to source and race the best bloodstock opportunities.”
