Central Coast defender Kye Rowles' horror tackle on Western Sydney Wanderers import Alex Baumjohann has earned him a three-match ban.
Rowles was sent off for the challenge in the 71st minute of the Mariners' 3-1 A-League win over the Wanderers last weekend.
The A-League's independent match review panel handed down a three-match sanction which will carry over into 2019/20 with the Mariners having just one game remaining this season. Rowles has until Wednesday to appeal.
