Eckstein  was the second Sydney winner of the week for Goldman after a Warwick Farm win on Wednesday with Safe Landing , a victory that urged him to but a Press Statement colt at the Highway Session of the Classic Yearling Sale the following day.
Goldman has some big goals for Eckstein (I Am Invincible x Comrie by Choisir ) this autumn and hopes the 5YO mare will become his first G1 winner.
Eckstein was first sold as a weanling for $50,000 to KP Thoroughbreds at the 2014 Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale, when offered by Redbank North.
Vinery Stud subsequently sold her again for $165,000 to Australian Bloodstock as a yearling at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Eckstein is among three winners from four to race from Comrie, a daughter of the three-time G1 winner Canny Lass (Bletchingly).
Canny Lass is the dam of two stakes winners and the granddam of four others.
Comrie had a filly foal by Sooboog in 2018 and was then covered by Hellbent.
Foxwedge mare Alassio recorded a valuable first stakes victory when successful in the G3 Triscay Stakes at Randwick.
The 5YO mare from the Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott stable is the 12th stakeswinner by Foxwedge, who has been relocated to stand at Woodside Park Stud in Victoria this year.
Alassio  has now won five of her nine career starts after she was purchased as a yearling by Waterhouse and Julian Blaxland for $50,000 from Emirates Park.
Alassio is the fifth foal from the Listed winner Cinque (Red Ransom) and her second winner.
Cinque, also the granddam of G2-placed Dealmaker (Dundeel), is out of the US-bred mare Carduel, a prolific daughter of Buckpasser who has been responsible for the champion Lailani (Unfuwain) and G1 placed Naheef (Marju), Ley Hunter (Kingmambo) and Faithful Son (Zilzal).
