RACE 1

KEY ON KODIAC (7) - Finished off well enough in the Cancham Cup to suggest he can run well in this, given this is a rather weak affair. Cliff Brown's charge is well taking a chance with.

KASHAN (5) - Needed all of the champion jockey's strength to score last time out, he remains on board and should go well.

MUSCULAR CAPTAIN (3) - Course and distance winner who has conditions to suit and blinkers go back on. Place chance.

JOYOUS (4) - Better at 1400m but able to get competitive in a race of this nature, good 4kg claimer booked.

RACE 2

ZAC KASA (5) - Has bags of raw talent but does, however, have issues with the starting stalls, he now has the blinkers on and has won two trials very nicely indeed and can play a leading role in this.

LIM'S ZOOM (4) - Backed on debut as if defeat was out of the question! Though did find one too good on that occasion, goes up in trip here and can continue to go in the right direction. Nice type.

BAN THE DOUBT (7) - Filly who won her latest trial (first two a mile clear), represents leading stable and interesting on debut.

WOLF WARRIOR (8) - Not too much given away at the trials, could add some value to the quartet.

RACE 3

WONDERFUL ERA (3) - Not suited by the slow tempo on the turf last time. He has won four times on the Polytrack and two of those with Alan Munro. Ticks a lot of boxes!

TAICHI BELT (7) – Best record is over this 1600m trip and normally races handy but got too far back last time. Wearing blinkers for the first time here and should run well.

JACKS SECRET (4) – Has hit career best form recently. Well drawn with Vlad Duric and has won on the Polytrack before.

FIGHTING WARRIOR (12) – Can be frustrating but too good to ignore. Missed the start last start when in the market. Risky.

RACE 4
OL MATE BUZZER (7) – Blitzed in a recent trial winning by 5L. Won a trial in Australia by 7L in 2017. Big watch on debut.

ELENA OF AVALOR (11) – Didn’t seem to enjoy the turf last time. This course and distance look far more suitable. Big improver.

WAITAHANUI (10) – Has moved trainers after two handy runs under Lee Freedman. Has been highly thought of in the market and merits respect.

THOMAS DE LAGO (9) – Trial winner with blinkers in 62.91 beating Ol Mate Buzzer. Market watch at first outing.

RACE 5

BLACK QUAIL (1) - Really nice sort who has had a break since winning last December (form has worked out very well), should prove better than this grade and can take this en route to further success.

FEROCIOUS (3) - Decent type on his day but let down by starting slowly on more than one occasion and did so last time out before running home well. Group 3 placed at best and should be involved if jumping on terms.

PAPERBACK TROOPER (6) - Too keen mid race for his own good behind Ben Gunn a fortnight ago. Place chance on best form.

TYPHON (5) - Holding form well since winning over Soonbaby, one for the multiples.

RACE 6

FILIBUSTER (5) – Highly-talented filly who broke the 1100m Polytrack record last time. Has a dubious history at the starting stalls and can be a real handful so that might be her biggest assignment. Being aimed at the upcoming 3yo Sprint.

YULONG FAST STEED (6) – Superb victory last time with the application of blinkers. Came from the tail to score in a weaker race but the win was too good to ignore. Looks like a nice horse for the future.

MOKASTAR (2) - Speedy 3yo who already has a mark of 74 courtesy of some excellent racing. Rises in weight but loves these conditions and posted another trial victory last week.

SILKINO (11) - Meets Mokastar 3kg better for their meeting in January. Holding solid form and should be considered for quartet bets.

RACE 7
CHOCANTE (6) - There is absolutely nothing between Chocante, Sebastian Bach, Imperial Falls and Heracross from last time, the selection however finished off strongly and a chance is taken with him this time around.

SEBASTIAN BACH (4) - Was actually ahead of Chocante on their latest encounter, should be right there again if replicating that run a month ago.

IMPERIAL FALLS (9) - Was the shortest price of the four last time at $18 and has every chance on that performance.

HERACROSS (8) - If the form holds up, he will be right there at the business end of the contest.

RACE 8

ELITE INVINCIBLE (1) – Class horse who is aiming for the Derby in July. Got an easy run in transit last time and proved superior to his rivals. Goes up 5kg and back in trip so it won’t be a walk in the park.

KINGSMAN (9) – Another trained by Mark Walker and he looks the main danger to Elite Invincible. Drops a heap in weight after a nice Class 3 win and should thrive at the 1400m.

DARC BOUNTY (5) – On show here at the 1400m which might be a question mark as he is loaded with natural pace. Should lead this field for a long time.

GOOD NEWS (3) – Veteran galloper who ran well in the Fortune Bowl (G3) after sitting wide. Will need luck but is always value and could sneak into the top four.

RACE 9

LIM’S DASHING (9) – Ran a massive race to finish 2nd to Tales Of Summer last time out after a lengthy break. Glen Boss now rides and he has conditions nicely in his favour.

OHYIOH (4) – Has done nothing wrong to-date having won two Novice events. He has more on his plate in this but is in great form and must be taken seriously.

PAPARAZZI (2) – Just behind the selection on their latest meeting and at the revised weight there again, shouldn’t be too much between them in this, and the blinkers are now dispensed with.

BIRAZ (6) – Winner of the British Club Gallop last time out over 1100m. Now up in trip and his trackwork looked good this week. Place chance.

RACE 10
ENTHUSE (1) – Bumped into a smart one last time and finds an easier assignment here. The course and distance suit and the claim for Amirul Ismadi could be crucial.

MASTER MINER (3) – Gets back to the Polytrack after running in a handy Novice race on turf last start. Still learning.

SNIP (7) – Racing well in weaker company. In form but this looks tougher.

NATURAL IMPULSE (6) – Watch market.
