Race 1
Selections; 8 MARGAUX - 1 DICAPRIO - 5 ROCKET FIGHTER - 3 OBSTACLES FREE
An extremely weak Class 5 with no horse having more than one win on turf and only two horses having more than one career win. MARGAUX weakened last start but placed at her previous two outings in this company; her only win was at 1400m on turf and she should get a good run throughout. DICAPRIO's only win was on turf at this distance, he battled away last start on the poly in a non-premier grade Class 4 and could improve in this weaker company. ROCKET FIGHTER fought on two starts back over 1400m in this class; he is yet to place in 11 outings but is well drawn and could benefit from a positive ride. The rest have very little to recommend them. Betting strategy - MARGAUX looks the most likely.

Race 2
Selections; 1 KRANJI GOLD - 10 BIG WAVE - 9 OVERSEER - 3 ZULU WARRIOR
A Restricted Maiden of only moderate depth. KRANJI GOLD ran a bold race before being run down last start. Blinkers come off and with Michael Rodd staying on he should be hard to pass. The main dangers are horses that had support and disappointed at their most recent outing. AUSPICIOUS DAY only battled when resuming but should be fitter while ZULU WARRIOR gets Vlad Duric back in the saddle and he can improve. BIG WAVE gave a bold sight last start and was run down late; he is improving with racing and gets a senior rider in Ryan Curatolo and could be hard to pass. Of the others, OVERSEER was caught wide and battled away last start when wearing blinkers first time; he is improving and should be handy throughout while SKYDANCE ECLIPSE and HENG KINGDOM can be considered for exotics. Betting strategy - KRANJI GOLD win, saver on OVERSEER.

Race 3
Selections; 1 MILLENNIUM'S RULE - 7 FIGHTING WARRIOR - 6 JUSTICE GRACE - 4 RICH BEAUTY
A non-premier Class 4 with quite a few chances. MILLENIUM'S RULE got a nice run throughout and capitalised on rails run to win last start in this class; he only rises 1kg and should get a good run throughout and be hard to hold out. The danger is FIGHTING WARRIOR who has had excuses at his last two starts and blinkers go back on; his preferred trip is 1400m but he should be running on. Of the rest, JACKS SECRET was prominent and fought on strongly over 1400m in this grade last start and should be prominent, JUSTICE GRACE was not far away last start in a Class 4 when resuming and might find this easier while RICH BEAUTY is the improver with blinkers added. For the exotics include MARVEL HERO and WONDERFUL ERA. Betting strategy - MILLENIUM'S RULE/FIGHTING WARRIOR swinger forecast.

Race 4
Selections; 1 COUNTRY BOSS - 2 LIBECCIO - 5 TRIGAMY - 3 SILVER SKY
A couple of these have been knocking on the door and one will get the chance to break through. COUNTRY BOSS has been nailed late at his past two outings the most recent in Class 4; he will find this much easier and gets another chance to break through. LIBECCIO has placed at nine of 14 turf outings, Zawari stays on and he should get a good run throughout. They look the to two but the blinker pacifiers come off TRIGAMY and his recent trial was strong; he has placed twice on turf and could improve on his recent moderate form. Betting strategy - COUNTRY BOSS win, couple with LIBECCIO in any exotic combinations.

Race 5
Selections; 1 HIMALAYA DRAGON - 5 GRAN TORINO - 2 UNCONQUERED - 8 CRAZY DREAMS
Some speedy customers in this Class 3 Poly dash. HIMALAYA DRAGON got a nice run but finished powerfully to win in this class last start; she rises 1kg but should get a good run again. UNCONQUERED battled on but was well-beaten last start in this class; he is suited by this trip and should be prominent. There are also a couple of smart ones resuming who can make their presence felt. GRAN TORINO has trialled well, showed promise earlier and has plenty of speed; he will give a sight from the number one gate. Of the rest, CRAZY DREAMS will find this easier than last start, LIM'S SINCERE can show up fresh while SILKINO is always a show on the Poly. Betting strategy - HIMALAYA DRAGON can win again.

Race 6
Selections; 1 THE ONE - 3 AEOLUS - 7 KASHAN - 2 FORTUNE SPIRIT
Another very weak Class 5 over 1600m on the poly. THE ONE's only win was at this trip and had plenty of excuses last start so worth another look on form prior. AEOLUS is yet to win but has placed at his past two outings and this distance suits. He also gets blinkers and gets a chance to break through. KASHAN is backing up quickly and finds it hard to win but has finished in the top four at his past three outings and should be running on. Nothing else appeals although FORTUNE SPIRIT has only battled since resuming but is suited by this class and distance and can improve. Betting strategy - THE ONE win.

Race 7
Selections; 2 PAPARAZZI - 1 LIM'S ROYAL - 3 GARIZA - 6 LIM'S DASHING
A good quality Class 3 with a pair of smart performers involved. PAPARAZZI outclassed a Novice field last start, is promising and, despite taking on strong field here, he should be hard to beat. The other promising one is LIM'S ROYAL who ran on when favourite in this class last start back in November. He races first up with winkers and has trialled well; he should be hard to hold off. Of the rest, GARIZA is another resuming and could show up fresh for Michael Rodd while LIM'S DASHING is also resuming and has first up form. Keep JUSTICE LIGHT safe as he is better suited on turf and should get a good run throughout with Vlad Duric to ride. For the exotics include MORITZ ECLIPSE and MELTING POINT. Betting strategy - PAPARAZZI win.

Race 8
Selections; 8 MAGIC WAND - 5 STUNNING CAT - 4 LEGENDARY SUN - 11 SACRED SURFER
A tough race to line up the form with some Class droppers likely to improve, a couple of handy types resuming who can also improve, a last start winner plus a 3YO who gets blinkers having his first start on the Poly who can rebound from a shocker. MAGIC WAND is the horse that gets blinkers added to his gear and the Ricky Le Grange-trained gelding has trialled well enough to think he can put a disappointing run behind him and show his best from gate 1. STUNNING CAT is the last start winner and that was at his Singapore debut. The 3YO should more than handle the Poly on trial form and should figure in the mix again. LEGENDARY SUN who bled last start and SACRED SURFER are the two resuming who goes close in what is a suitable race while ELITE GENERAL and KNIGHT WAGER can improve in Class 4. Betting Strategy - MAGIC WAND win, saver on LEGENDARY SUN.

Race 9
Selections; 2 TANNHAUSER - 7 BAO SHAN MAGIC - 10 SIR ISAAC - 5 DARC BOUNTY
The big questions in this Class 2 turf sprint is whether or not TANNHAUSER is a Poly specialist and is the roaring episode a one-off. The boom 4YO was unplaced on the turf on debut before winning his next four races straight on the Poly (his maiden win by nine lengths!). He returned a roarer when unplaced as the odds-on favourite last start but that may be a blessing in disguise as he gets to show he can handle the turf in this good field and go onto feature races on both tracks in the future. It is a good test though with BAO SHAN MAGIC very much appreciating being back on the turf, SIR ISAAC ready to show he is up to Open Company, DARC BOUNTY likely to give a sight and last start winner, CHALAZA, always the benchmark. Go even wider in exotics. Betting Strategy - TANNHAUSER win, saver on BAO SHAN MAGIC if value

Race 10
Selections; 3 HAYTHAM - 2 RUM N RAISINS - 5 THE GOLDEN GOAT - 6 KNIGHT CHEN BAY
Not a lot of depth to this Class 4 Poly sprint and as such an improver in HAYTHAM gets his chance. The 4YO doesn't win out of turn and hasn't won past 1100m but has had excuses for the poor results of late and given he gets a senior hoop (and a good one at that in V Duric), he could be hard to hold out. Another improver is THE GOLDEN GOAT. The 5YO's only win was this trip and ran on well enough late last start to think he has something to offer in this field. The obvious pick and likely favourite is last start winner, RUM N RAISINS. He comes off a nice win in a similar affair and, from gate 1 with Benny Woodworth retaining the winning ride, he could be hardest to beat. Nothing else jumps off the page but KNIGHT CHEN BAY gets blinkers off the back of a good trial and HONOR is in the mix with luck needed from the wide gate. Betting Strategy - HAYTHAM each-way.
