Back to back ODI centuries for Finch

Friday, 19 January 2018: Australia will push for a big total in their ODI against England as Aaron Finch followed up his MCG century with another hundred at the Gabba.

Finch looked to shape Australia’s fortunes again as he notched his 10th one-day international hundred at the Gabba which included nine fours and one six.
The 104-ball century - his second in as many innings came in quick time after Australia batted first after winning the toss.
Finch scored 107 on Sunday at the MCG as Australia reached 304 where they were chased down later by a record-breaking effort by England.
Australia were 3-197 in the 38th over and pushing hard to post an insurmountable total after the series-opening loss.
On Thursday, Finch took responsibility for the opening loss admitting that him batting further into the inning would have put the match out of reach of England.
Finch and Warner (35) had Australia away to a solid start before Warner fell to Moeen Ali, but it was the unlikely off-spin of Joe Root that continued to slow the Australians losing two wickets during the spell.
In-form Mitchell Marsh (30 not out) joined Aaron Finch to reinvigorate the innings while Australia made three changes to the side that lost in Melbourne.
