The Symon Wilde -trained mare was $1.90 before the barrier draw and firmed into a $1.80 favourite for Monday's $302,250 feature on the back of her dominant Lord Reims Stakes win.

Arguably Australia's most progressive stayer, the four-year-old has been touted as a potential Melbourne Cup chance in 2021 having won five of her past six starts.

Jason Holder  will again partner the mare as he chases his second Adelaide Cup, 25 years after winning aboard French Resort.

Wilde said barrier five was perfect.

"She always seems to draw well, we couldn't be happier with that," Wilde said.

"Drawing a few off the fence and not too wide is ideal."

And he said he couldn't fault the mare since her Lord Reims Stakes win at Morphettville last month.

"We'll just try and keep her happy and do the same as we did before the Lord Reims," he said.

"She'll come over a day and half beforehand and stay at Murray Bridge and hope for the same result."

2019 Cup-winning trainer Paul Preusker  will saddle up Ripcord  from barrier 13 and Vividredsky  from barrier 16.

Star jockey Jamie Kah  will return home to ride Starcaster  for the Anthony and Sam Freedman stable from barrier three while last year's runner-up Good Idea  drew the inside alley.

Lord Reims  runner-up Long Arm  drew poorly and will need to go back from barrier 17 with multiple Melbourne Cup winning jockey Kerrin Mcevoy  booked to ride, while Table Of Wisdom  has opened a $100 chance after drawing barrier 16 for Normanville horseman Dennis O'Leary
