Alizee  earned many plaudits with her eighth black type win in Saturday's G2 Missile Stakes at Rosehill in her first start as a 5YO.

The win took Alizee (Sepoy x Essaouira by Exceed And Excel) to equal second on Godolphin's all-time list of most black type wins behind only the recently-retired champion UK sprinter Blue Point, who won nine Group and Listed races.

Alizee's haul includes three G1 wins races among her nine career wins in 21 starts with her earnings now standing at more than $2.38 million

Her dam Essaouira is an elite mare, having produced five winners from her only five to race including the G1 winner and sire Astern (Medaglia D'Oro) and the high class stakes placed colt Tassort (Brazen Beau).

A Darley homebred, Alizee is also a half-sister to stakes-placed Mogador (Lonhro) and the three-time winner Marrakesh (Lonhro).

Alizee's second dam is the G2 winner Alizes (Rory's Jester), a daughter of the G1 winner La Baraka (Euclase).

Her fourth dam is multiple G1 winner Triscay (Marscay).

Essaouira has a two-year-old filly and a yearling colt both by Medaglia D'Oro and is in foal to Sepoy.

Sepoy, who is standing this spring at Northwood Park in Victoria, had a double on Saturday's Rosehill program when his promising 3YO Subedar made it two wins from two starts.

Also a Godolphin homebred, Subedar is from the dual G1 winner Virage De Fortune, a daughter of Anabaa who made a then-record Australian sale record of $3.4 million when she was purchased by Darley Australia at the 2007 Sydney Easter Broodmare Sale.

Virage De Fortune, a granddaughter of champion mare Emancipation (Bletchingly), is the dam of three other winners.
