Sebring filly Amphitrite enhanced her standing as one of the most valuable in Australia with her first-up win in the G3 The Vanity for her new stable at Flemington on Saturday.

[n]Amphitrite[/n] made her debut for the Lindsay Park stable of trainers David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig in the G3 The Vanity 10 days after her transfer from Darren Weir.

A $50,000 purchase from the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale by Flying Start Syndications, Amphitrite (Sebring x Ocen Dream by Redoute’s Choice) has won five of her ten starts for prize-money of $567,405.

She won four races in succession in the spring including the G1 Thousand Guineas.

Goldin Farms in South Australia bred Amphitrite and will offer her half-brother by Akeed Mofeed at the 2019 Adelaide Yearling Sale in March.

Amphitrite is the third winner from three to race and first stakes winner for her dam Ocean Dream, herself a two time winner and half-sister to G1 winner Marble Halls (Nassipour) and the dam of G1 winner Sleek Chassis (Flying Spur).

Ocean Dream was purchased by Goldin Farms for $190,000 from the Magic Millions Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale in 2015 when she was carrying Amphitrite.

Amphitrite is one of five G1 winners by Sebring.

[n]The Inevitable[/n] (Dundeel x Gift Bouquet by King’s High) was purchased for $90,000 at the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale by the trainer’s father David Brunton, Tasmania’s former champion trainer.

Cornerstone Stud sold The Inevitable on behalf of breeder Tori Park Stud’s Alistair and Pat McFarlane.

The Inevitable’s dam Gift Bouquet (King’s High) is also the producer of G3 winner Blahnik (Jeune), Listed winner Elysees (Statue Of Liberty) and stakes placed Petman (Lonhro) among her 11 winners from 14 foals to race.

They others include the 10-time winner Petman.

Gift Bouquet was a Listed winner and descends from the family of G2 Ksar Royal (Ksar). The Inevitable was her last foal.
