RACE 1

RUN THE DAY (2) – In what looks like a tricky little heat to kick things off, it might prove advantageous to side with this lightly-raced Irish import on the back of a sound debut effort in Singapore when wide throughout over course and distance.

EVIL ROADSTER (3) – Won nicely last time out and has trialed well since (fourth). Conditions suit and should run a big race.

RICH FORTUNE (6) – Ran home best of all last start when third and it’s conceivable he will do the same and get involved late.

MAN OF WORDS (8) – An on-pace runner who scored in a Class 5 when last seen, carrying 59kgs, he might have more to offer. Place chance.

RACE 2

GALVARINO (1) – Talented maiden that has had a long road back to the races due to his poor manners. Ran to the outside fence as a $7 favourite last time we saw him and has trialled seven times since – some of those unsuccessfully. Best horse in the race and will win if he does everything right. But can he be trusted?

ATLANTEAN (7) – Has trialled well for this and is drawn to get the right run. Horse looks to have some ability and can be a force here. Danger.

HOSTWIN QUEEN (11) – Won a barrier trial by 3.8 lengths in 62.08 on February 7 showing signs of improvement since her first trial. Monitor any betting moves.

QIJI FLYER (3) – Has also won a trial and looks to be in good order for his return. Worth keeping in mind.

RACE 3

MY DREAMLINER (10) – Ran out a smart winner on his debut last December and in the process beat a couple of subsequent winners. Has since won a trial nicely in 62.59 and should once again give a bold show.

BOY NEXT DOOR (7) – A talented type who broke the maiden last time out. He has some good form under his belt and certainly has more to give. Bold show expected.

TIME TO ROCK (3) – Now drops in grade which is a big plus and if she puts it all together, she can run very well.

SUN PRINCEPS (2) – Another that is back in Class 4 company and must be feared to run well under champion jockey Vlad Duric.

RACE 4

SACRED CROIX (2) – Course and distance winner 12 days again when beating Cru Bourgeois. He is very lightly-raced, and the handicapper has been kind with an opening mark of 55. Can go very close.

HEARTLIGHT (1) – Was short of racing room when running on well last time out for sixth behind Copacabana in a better race. Has a good barrier here and more than capable of running a big race on best form.

CERDAN (5) – The blinkers are reapplied here and although he has not shown a great deal of late, he may well prove a bit of value in this field now back in Kranji D grade.

TURF BEAUTY (12) – Was doing all her best work in the closing stages when last seen and can make the frame again here. Place hope.

RACE 5

CIRCUIT MISSION (4) – Was desperately unlucky last time out when making local debut for Lee Freedman. He is a class act and with a clear passage, he can win this race.

GOLD STRIKE (3) – Won going away last time and has since gone up the six points for that success, he is a handy type who continues to progress. Keep safe.

OUR PINNACLE (10) – Returning after having had a nice break and has trialled well leading into this race. Stephen Gray’s stable is in good form, too.

YULONG EDITION (12) – All but knocked over in the race Circuit Mission was fourth in and it was game over then at the 200m marker. He was mightily unlucky and can atone here.

RACE 6

WONDERFUL PAINT (7) – This Leslie Khoo-trained four-year-old was impressive when landing the ANZA Derby last time out and continues to show good improvement. Connections still haven’t got to the bottom of him just yet and the further he goes the better he’ll be.

MR DUJARDIN (6) – Stays well and was successful on the course and distance off a 5 point lower mark back in November (beating Majestic Empress). He is reunited with Michael Rodd and a bold show can be expected.

MIDDLE KINGDOM (9) – An interesting runner in this line-up having won over this trip in the UK for John Gosden and the fact there are not many opportunities at this sort of trip here in Singapore, this could be an ideal time to include him in the exotics.

SOLO SUN (4) – Another who stays strongly and this return to turf is a plus also.

RACE 7

LORD OF CLOUD (13) - Consistent performer who is well credentialled for this affair. Well suited over the track and distance, and is capable of fighting out the finish if he gains entry. Respect.

DICTON (1) - Classy stayer who resumes from a let-up. Isn't ideally suited over the journey but brings residual fitness from last preparation. Can give this a shake if he's ready first-up. Major player.

WECANDO (8) - Bounced back to winning form last start with an impressive victory. Remains at the same track and distance, and finds conditions to suit yet again. So must be considered. In the mix.

BOY WONDER (5) - Worth overlooking last start. Capable of making amends in this affair with Vlad Duric retaining the ride. Needs even luck from the wide draw but is worth including on best credentials.

RACE 8

ELITE CONQUEST (4) – A five-time winner in Canada for Robert Tiller (all on the Tapeta) at Woodbine and since arriving in Singapore, he has looked very impressive in his trials. A big watch on an interesting recruit.

QUADCOPTER (8) – Useful type who was far from disgraced when fourth last time out. Blinkers go back on and he should be up to running a big race here.

GAIN ECLIPSE (1) – A mare in good form, but this is tougher. She is still a place chance here.

PARADOR (12) – Has now joined James Peters and has trialled okay leading up to this debut for the stable.
