DAVIS CUP CHANGES AT A GLANCE

* Ties to be played over two days, instead of three

* Matches to be best of three sets, instead of five

* Doubles match to be played before reverse singles on day two

* Home-and-away ties scrapped

* The 12 winners of ties worldwide this weekend join six automatic qualifiers for the finals

* Losers are knocked out of the cup

* 18 nations to contest the finals in Madrid from November 18-24 this year

* Finals format: 18 nations to compete in six groups of three. Group winners and two best-performing runners-up advance

* Each finals tie played in one day, consisting of two singles matches followed by one doubles match
