RACE 1

EVERTRUST (3) - Was doing his best work late last time in what looked a stronger Class 5 race than this. Much better set up here going to the 1200m considering the horse was back 600m in trip last start. Drawn a better barrier this time and if able to hold a position early will be strong late and hard to hold out. Top pick.

ULTIMATE KILLER (10) - Has a bit of youth on his side in this field. Quite a few of these horses are getting on in years. So this 3yo may have that bit more scope to improve than others. Expecting a good performance from the Kuah Cheng Tee-trained trained galloper

BOHEMIAN (11) - Is the lone mare of the field but she shouldn't be easily discounted. Ran in the same race as a few other horses here - Dontlookdownonme and Ultimate Killer. From barrier 1 she may be able to turn the tables. Worth including.

DONTLOOKDOWNONME (1) - Showed good improvement last time running a good race for 2nd behind Sugartime Jazz. That may not have been the strongest race but he was wide and made a long sustained run. With a bit more luck looks like a horse that can win this race

RACE 2

WHIZZY WALTZZY (3) - Clearly appreciated to drop to the basement grade last time when hitting the line well enough behind the less than prolific Anghiari (13th last time). Still open to improvement in this company, but it is advisable to keep investments to a minimum in this race.

WALTERS BAY (11) - 0-23 and rated 26, so hardly jumps off the page, but did manage to run second last time out under Nooresh Juglall. Amirul Ismadi now jumps on board and claims a useful couple of kilos to aid his cause.

MILITARY ALLIANCE (8) - These types of races are very much this fellow's 'bread and butter' and last time, although soundly beaten by a runaway winner, he was third and was also well backed beforehand. Place chance.

AVENGERS HERO (1) - Second last time out at odds and should be respected here.

RACE 3

NO FUN NO GAIN (10) - This Stephen Gray-trained 3yo showed a very willing attitude on debut when scoring over Mach and Trapio (both won their nest start) with the former having every chance to go by in the straight and couldn't do so. This son of Pins looks to have plenty of scope for improvement still and can once again fend off all comers.

SIAM VIPASIRI (12) - Seventh in the strong form race that is the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe in July and then on the back of a near three-month break, she won in the manner of a very smart filly when beating Hugo and company last time out. Another in this field that would seem to have plenty of upside and should go very close.

MACH (9) - Gained revenge on a Stephen Gray runner when defeating Hugo by half-a-length on Raffles Cup day having come off second best to No Fun No Gain the time before. He should come on again for the win and must be included here.

TRAPIO (11) - With four last-start winners in the line-up, the win of this Michael Clements-trained runner would certainly need improving (form has taken a few knocks since) but did win with something in hand and could offer up some value here.

RACE 4

OUR PINNACLE (11) - Ultra-impressive winner last time out when leading throughout to win over the same track/distance. Rises in grade but will appreciate the low weight and the claim from stable apprentice Amirul Ismadi. Finds conditions to suit again so must be respected.

ANONYMOUS (1) - Somewhat disappointed last start when poorly drawn. Has since had a freshen-up leading into this affair and can certainly make amends from the inside draw. The claim of Yusoff Fadzli offsets the top weight. So expect bold showing.

MELTING POINT (7) - Was gallant in defeat last start when finishing third behind Mister Yeoh. Isn't ideally drawn but will appreciate the step-up in trip to 1400m and certainly finds a suitable task. Must be included on best efforts.

SUPERNOVA (6) - Performed well last start when only narrowly beaten to Lord Of Cloud. Remains at the same track/distance and is likely to race handy to the speed from the alley. Worth considering with a repeat dose of last start.

RACE 5

JUMPIN JACK (1) - A good second with the visor on first time and was his first go in this company and both of those factors could well be the key to him finally getting his head in front at the 10th time of asking.

RACING TALENT (2) - Held last time at odds of $15 behind Silent Arrow. He did, however, box on okay and this is about his level and can be seen to best effect from the front often.

IN BOCCA AL LUPO (3) - Needs to bounce back from a poor run recently but if doing so, she can run in the first four.

THOTH WARRIOR (9) - On the pick of his form, he must be a bit of a chance for a top four finish.

RACE 6

THUNDERSTRUCK (7) - Fourth on local debut after being involved in the interference that resulted in Drone unseating Alysha Collett on Oct 14. It was, however, a solid run all things considered and would seemingly find a winnable race here and is slightly better at the weights with Classified (second) on these terms.

CLASSIFIED (1) - Second in the same race as the top pick last time out and ran a big race to boot. Should be bang there again with a similar performance here.

LIM'S BLAST (3) - Missed a run recently after being scratched (lame off hind on Oct 19). Has been trialing well and is just three points higher than his latest win and was a close second off 63 in Feb. Conditions suit him and can run very well.

SUPER SIX (6) - Now 12 points lower than his last win and has a good apprentice booked. Solid chance

RACE 7

ANDADO (1) - Gave them the slip last time out under an enterprising ride from Olivier Placais on the Short Course D. Clearly well suited by those tactics and even though this race is on the Long Course, it should suit him once again and can back up that win with another solid run here.

ASTROJET (12) - Third to the selection last time around when closing off in a swift 22.62 final sectional. Better off at the weights with Andado this time in and does reserve some of his better performances for this course and distance. Big player.

LIM'S SHOT (2) - Finished off to good effect (22.37) on his latest start over the six furlongs when third to the smart Siam Blue Vanda. The step-up in distance looks a positive move this time around.

ENCHANTED MISTER (5) - Has some very solid form in the book from just the six starts here in Singapore to-date, and his bid from the front was only foiled by two late finishers. He should make his presence felt.

RACE 8

PRINCE FERDINAND (5) - Finished off strongly for fourth over the course and distance when last seen and although he has never won outside of Class 5 grade, this is not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and it might just be worth taking a chance with David Hill's charge.

EL TORDILLO (2) - He has now dropped to a rather feasible mark (49) and is six
points lower than his second of two wins in March. He likes the surface and must command a focused market watch.

SING ROULETTE (9) - Frontrunner who has bits and pieces of recent form (unlike some) and it wouldn't be the biggest shock in racing history if he made it into the frame.

ROCKET FIGHTER (7) - Limited galloper whose latest success was archived off a mark of 40 in a Class 5 over the same course and distance in what is a very weak looking Class 4 Non Premier. He can be considered for a place at best.
