Thursday, 20 September 2018: Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 20.

Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Hawkesbury, Lismore, Sale and Rockhampton.

Sale: Race 6 @ 3:30pm

RIPPLEBROOK was backed and proved an easy and deserved 58 winner at Bairnsdale. Callow replaced the apprentice and the gelding rates to repeat. PRINCE OF ARRAN will come over and race handy and brings a string of placings. He gets another chance. JOHNNY VINKO ran favourite FU but looked in need of it. Can win this at best and expect sharp improvement at a more suitable trip. I'M DUN DREAMIN' can build on the comfortable Maiden win. [b]SELECTIONS:[/b] # 2 Ripplebrook will use the low gate and can make the double.

Lismore: Race 7 @ 4:25pm

My Cousin Jackie will roll forward from the wide alley. CHE BELLA VITA has been thereabouts at both runs back. Slightly easier today and 1400m is ideal. Should find a nice position just behind the leaders and this is her race to lose. MY COUSIN JACKIE is resuming from a spell. Overall record good and handles all conditions. Should be thereabouts. PERCUSSION has been back to the trials following his midfield finish at the Gold Coast a month back. Soft draw and he can show improvement here without shock. [b]SELECTIONS:[/b] Che Bella Vita gets the nod.

Hawkesbury: Race 8 @ 5:20pm

Speed anticipated from My Song, Blazing Beau, Radical Impact and Prima Stella. IMAGE NEAT was never a threat at Canterbury when resuming over a month back. He faces a nice drop in grade today and loves it here on the home track. SUPREME POLARITY is unbeaten in two starts for the new stable. Both wins on the Acton have been rather dominant. Claim suits and he'll get every chance from the soft draw. MY SONG should take some catching. Not far off a subsequent city winner here last start.[b]SELECTIONS:[/b] Image Neat to end proceedings.

Rockhampton: Race 7 @ 5:30pm

THE GREATEST was a big CL1 winner at Mackay and then missed 1L at Cairns after being wide early. He will use the handy gate and rates to be winning. COLORADO RIVER spaced the Maidens here last start as favourite and that stacks up. He’s on the 7 day return and must be pleasing. LITTLE HUNTER won the 55 here as favourite and three winners have come out of that. He’s a genuine chance. CRAIGLEA CETINA is also going well to have a hope. [b]SELECTIONS:[/b] Expecting # 5 The Greatest to get the mile and be winning and will cover in quinellas.
