Volleyroos through in World Cup

The Australian men's volleyball team are through to the next round of the world championship in Italy.

After losing the opening set 25-16, the Volleyroos bounced back to register a 25-17 25-19 25-16 victory against the African giants.

Opposite Lincoln Williams was the star with 25 points while Beau Graham scored 13.

The win secures Australia's place in the next round after Russia beat Cameroon 3-0.

The Volleyroos will finish fourth in Pool C with Wednesday's match between the US and Tunisia having no bearing on Australia's position.

Australia's opponent in the next round will be determined by the results of tomorrow's games.
