RACE 1
RAPTOR (2) - Hard to get past Raptor. Knocking on the door and franked current form with barrier trial win last Thursday. Go close.
GRIDIRON (5) - Still winless after seven starts but has shown marked improvement at last couple of starts. Will pay to follow soon.
HALLELUJAH (1) - Dropped back from wide barrier last time out and didn't quite run on. Scored nice win two starts back. Chances enhanced if she takes closer order upfront.
TOP BANANA (12) - Has been running well without winning of late. Not far off that first hurrah even if awkward alley throws a dampener.
RACE 2
LORD JUSTICE (6) - Ran a lovely race on debut when showing a few signs of greenness. Sure to come on for that and this looks an ideal opportunity for him to go a couple of places better.
GROUND ATTACK (1) - Goes up in trip slightly here having run his two best races over 1000m. There isn't a great amount of strength in depth here. So should go very close.
THOMAS DE LAGO (4) - Has found improvement for a step back in distance recently and can certainly go well in this.
IFFRAGAL (8) - Group 3-placed when at her best but has been struggling a little since then. Now gets herself into a lesser maiden contest and this is her first try on Polytrack.
RACE 3
OCULIST (2) - Last two runs have been with blinkers on and have been very respectable. Finds a good opportunity here.
ELITE BEAST (1) - Back to form last time out with a decent second to Viola De Terra over slightly shorter. Seemingly back in a good place now and can run very well.
MATSURIBAYASHI (6) - Course and distance winner who has good form in his last two starts and handles the surface well.
HAPPY SAGA (7) - Can make the frame at odds in this.
RACE 4
PACIFIC OCEAN (4) - Might be the way to go in what looks a trappy race with champion jockey Vlad Duric booked and pacifiers added to blinkers.
MOMENT OF JUSTICE (2) - Yet to win on the Polytrack with all three wins on turf. Ran well on the grass last time out when well supported.
INTROIT (1) - First run in a Kranji D and first go on Polytrack. Certainly not the worst of them in this contest.
SUPERSONICESURPRISE (9) - Has it all to prove at the distance but is dangerously well handicapped on best form.
RACE 5
DICTON (5) - Extremely impressive last time out in the Seristine Cup and has plenty of class. Can once again take all the beating here.
MR DUJARDIN (9) - Talented sort who ran fifth in the Singapore Guineas and stayed on for third last time in a decent race. Has plenty of stamina and will be doing all his best work at the finish.
SOUTHERN SPUR (6) - Slightly better at the weights with Dicton on the Seristine Cup form (3L 3rd). Is in good order currently and can run well.
CHAIRMAN (2) - Could offer up some value here.
RACE 6
BERLINETTA (5) - Hard to get away from this in-form galloper who has won two of his last three starts in this grade. Every chance again.
BOUNCEBACK ABILITY (1) - Third behind Berlinetta at latest outing. That was a good effort with the 59kgs and if he is able to repeat that, then he is a live chance.
DRAGON (7) - Didn't go a yard last time out, but old Dragon can do that. On his unpredictable best he can show up well here.
SILENT ARROW (3) - Interesting with the pacifiers added and Vlad Duric remains on board.
RACE 7
BAFFERT (4) - Second at his last three starts (all behind useful types) and the latest of them a close second to Paparazzi. Has been freshened up and on the back of two very good trials, he looks ready to run a big race.
ASTROJET (7) - Has a good record on the Polytrack (3-1-1-1) and ran a big race in defeat last time out over 1000m behind Cadet. He can give the selection most to do.
CHOCANTE (8) - Thought good enough to run in the Singapore Three-Year-Old Sprint and was tried up over 1400m on his latest start. Back in distance will suit and the stable is in excellent form at the moment.
DUTROW (1) - Now back into Class 3 grade and is extremely well suited to this surface and another one of Shane Baertschiger's horses who should go well.
RACE 8
MADE IN RUSSIA (8) - On debut in Singapore. Has developed a handy record in South Australia by winning his previous two starts. Has since trialled well leading into this, so must be respected. Will take some beating.
FLAK JACKET (1) - Experienced campaigner who rarely wins but is never far from the mark. Finished second last time out and must be considered for a repeat dose. Worth some thought.
YULONG MEDAL (4) - On debut in Singapore. Recent form in Australia has been somewhat disappointing but is capable of figuring on best efforts which includes winning the Group 3 Up & Coming Stakes. Watch market.
GALILEO'S APPROACH (7) - Has been the definition of consistency in recent times. Rises in trip and switches to the Poly surface, so don't ignore. Must be included in the mix.
RACE 9
IMPERIUM (3) - Was impressive in winning a trial recently in 60.37. The hood is now removed and he looks a winning chance here.
SOLDADO (4) - Stable is in great form and this 6yo is in good form. Wide barrier not ideal but does have his blinkers back on, which is a positive.
KING OF WAR (10) - Placed in last five runs and would have to be seriously considered to make the frame again from a good stall.
BEST WISHES (1) - Solid run last time out and if running to that form again, he is a quartet player.
