RACE 1

GLORIA ECLIPSE (1) – The winner of two from five career starts. Has since been freshened and looks well suited over the 1100m. Expect bold showing.

ALLEGRO (3) – Recently closed stylishly to finish third in a trial over 1000m. Appears ready to go fresh and will appreciate the claim. Contender.

GREATBALLS OF FIRE (11) – Experienced campaigner who hasn’t been far from the mark in recent times. Will appreciate the soft draw and must be included in this affair.

ROMAN CLASSIC (2) – Contested races over longer journeys last prep but has since been freshened and is capable of sprinting well. Don’t dismiss.

RACE 2

TRAPIO (11) – Looked good in trial win recently in 61.83 (showed good turn of foot), his dam won two Group 3’s in New Zealand and is a half-brother to five winners. Looks a likely type on debut.

REVOLUTION (7) – The penny really did drop late on debut to see Alwin Tan’s colt finish off in a 22.29 closing sectional. He should continue to progress and would have a serious chance.

BOY NEXT DOOR (1) – A solid third behind Bold Thruster last month. Now wears blinkers in the hope to sharpen him up from an outside gate.

MACH (2) – Second on 2yo debut at Morphettville back in March (hit line well). Looks a racy type and has trialled well leading up to this.

RACE 3

DRONE (6) – Ran well last start after finishing well down the track in the Golden Horseshoe. Glen Boss goes back aboard and appears to have upside. Major player.

EFFORTLESS (1) – Comes into this affair after finishing runner-up last start. Experienced campaigner who is well credentialled for this assignment. Can figure.

STOCK BROKER (2) – Was gallant last start after not having much luck in running. Polytrack specialist over the journey and is well drawn to threaten. Must be respected.

YULONG XIONG BA (5) – Capable of improvement second-up. Has previously won over the journey and is capable of figuring on best efforts.

RACE 4

ELENA OF AVALOR (12) – Michael Clements’ mare is worth chancing in this weak race now up in trip. There is stamina on the distaff side and her sire Echoes Of Heaven gets winners over this trip and some.

ON PARADE (1) – Now tries the Polytrack and would be bred for the surface too (son of Street Cry). Plugged on well last time and looks one for the money.

MR ROCKWELL (6) – Won a trial in blinkers (60.79) 10 days ago for Daniel Moor and given he is still very lightly-raced. He could be open to further improvement.

ACE HARBOUR (8) – Gets a visor on for the first time and although a long standing maiden, he is suited by the conditions.

RACE 5

HONOR (6) – Consistent performer who has been knocking on the door in recent times. Finds another suitable race and Olivier Placais is a key booking. Expect bold showing.

SATELLITE KINGDOM (7) – Yet to breakthrough but hasn’t been far from the mark. Will improve 2nd up off a trial and will appreciate Boss. Can figure.

RACING TALENT (8) – Returned to the Polytrack last start when finishing 4th. Will appreciate the soft draw and is certainly worth thought on best efforts.

ALAMOSA EXPRESS (3) – Yet to breakthrough but hasn’t been beaten far. Drawn the inside gate and gets the top jockey aboard. Worth including.

RACE 6

NOWYOUSEE (1) – Third in a Kranji A in February behind Distinctive Darci would be the pick of form on show in this, although beaten at odds on last time It was a very good run and can go one place better here.

COUSTEAU (7) – Finished just behind the selection last time out in the Country Boss race. A consistent type who continues to run nice races. Expect another bold show.

HIMALAYA DRAGON (2) – A return to the 1100m will suit this decent mare (1000m too short last start). Has good form behind Mokastar and Filibuster. Place chance.

KISS YOUR SONG (6) – Winner of his last two in good fashion over this trip and 1000m on latest run. Will find life tougher now in Class 3 but is in great heart and has to be taken seriously.

RACE 7

KEY SUCCESS (7) – Comes into this affair after back-to-back minor placings. Stepping up to the mile for the first time which will suit and gets Vlad Duric on board. Major showing.

GOL GOAL (1) – Rarely wins but is constantly knocking on the door. Finds another suitable task and comes from a top yard. Capable of figuring.

GOLD FAITH (2) – Steps back in trip from 2000m and is certainly the fittest commodity. Will likely race off the speed and hit the line hard. Must be considered.

WARRIOR KING (11) – Comes into this affair after a last start victory. This race is harder but will appreciate the rise in trip and is capable of figuring with a repeat dose.

RACE 8

DREAMWEAVER (1) – All wins on turf but has run very well on Polytrack in the past and has 4kgs off with a handy apprentice booked. Take a chance in the last.

OPTIMUM STAR (8) – Holding his form well at present. Should be bang there.

SUN GENERAL (4) – A mile winner at Seymour in Australia and starts here on the back of two trials. Lee Freedman has already won with the only other two big owner Cheng Ting Kong horses he trains.

BORN TO BE KING (6) – Represents an in-form stable and looks one for the exotics here.
