TESORO PRIVADO

RACE 1

DRAGON GOLD (1) - Runner-up when last presented. Led the race and boxed on solidly to try and stay with the winner.

PRINCE FERDINAND (3) - Arrives back into Class 5 at 1200m which looks to suit. Last time he won was in the grade/distance, but on the Polytrack.

MASTER BANGER (9) - When he was last seen, punters got on at $18 and he bled. Recent trial wasn't bad, one to watch fresh.

Of the rest, it is a very open looking field and one you may want to throw a few selections at for the quartet, numbers: 6, 8, 10, and 12.

RACE 2

AXEL (4) - A second place to the impressive Bold Thruster is as good as any formline you can get, even if he was beaten by more than six lengths. Good gate will help. Can salute.

REVOLUTION (9) - New Thai-owned colt who has been trialling in good fashion. Wide draw is a bit of a stumbling block for a first outing but if he can tuck in with some cover in midfield, he can still take a hand in this.

NADEEM SAPPHIRE (7) - Two starts were noteworthy, especially the first run. Reverts to turf, his debut surface. Keep an eye on him in concluding stages.

KING ZOUSTAR (6) - Slipped by unnoticed at his only start as a two-year-old. Blinkers on. Has made further headway. Expect a better run second-up.

RACE 3

HYDE PARK (2) - Loomed up strongly in the straight but in the end couldn't grab the winner. Tries 1400m for the first time.

FORESTO (4) - Took him a long time to break his maiden status but he did it in good style last start. Can go on with it here.

DREAMWEAVER (3) - Flew around the track at the trials last week, clocking in with a sub-60 time. 1400m should be ideal.

NOVA CLASSIC (6) - Hasn't done a lot wrong recently and gets his chance here after winning a Kranji D last start. Quartet player.

RACE 4

INTROIT (1) - Boxed on fairly last start and has been seen recently at the trials, placed third. Looks to have his opportunity here.

ZULU WARRIOR (6) - Traffic issues were costly two runs back, should have won. Ran into one better again last start. Rates a chance.

BLITZ POWER (9) - Only lightly tried and having her first run over a mile. Ended up a long way back on the E course but did run home nicely late.

I AM THE BOSS (5) - Had a pretty good run in transit last time out. Wasn't going to challenge the winner but was only beaten 3.4L, quartet chance.

RACE 5

EYE GUY (7) - The winner of two from three now and comes into this race with a nice weight of 53.5kgs. Will be dangerous.

ANONYMOUS (1) - Has been in the money 10 of 16 runs at this distance. Game effort last start for second placing.

ANDADO (3) - He was disappointing in his first run here, but is a better horse than that. So prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

SPLINTER (9) - In the money 50% of his starts at this distance. Trialled up okay the other week and looks to be a genuine chance.

RACE 6

TESORO PRIVADO (1) - Excellent performance last start to win by 3L for Michael Rodd. Still looks to be a serious player in this race even with inexperienced four-kilo claimer in the plate.

KING LOUIS (5) - Had a trial the other day and looked to be well enough. Second in the Group 1 Singapore Guineas last start. Respect.

MAGIC CITY (3) - Another last-start winner who is facing a bit of a step-up but it was good to see him return to his best form last start.

MR DUJARDIN (11) - He is another horse that has come through the Singapore Guineas and ran a solid race. Quartet player.

RACE 7

CAPTAIN JAMIE (3) - He is on the back-up from last week where he was better but still costly for punters. Will, however, have to cross from a wide stall again.

RED DAWN (1) - Made ground behind Tesoro Privado last start and that was enough to suggest he can be a player in this race.

CHARGER (4) - Will have to overcome the outside stall but has been in the mix recently. Expect another honest showing here.

ANCIENT WARRIOR (2) - Ignore his last run when well-backed but finished unplaced behind Dutrow. Returned lame and had debris in his trachea. Can atone.

RACE 8

KEY SUCCESS (1) - Has been a shade disappointing at his recent efforts even though he was better last start. Take on trust.

LUCKY HADA (2) - Produced a good debut effort first time of asking. Never looked like winning but did his best work late.

MOLINEUX (3) - Boxed on well enough last start in the E course. So it was always going to be hard to pass the winner, but he did a good job.

REALLY CAPABLE (4) - Looks to find a suitable race class and distance wise and it wouldn't surprise if he put in a bold bid.
