RACE 1
MORALES (2) - Was placed second in a recent trial as a lead-up to this race. However, needs to really put his best foot forward and can do so with Michael Rodd on.
GREATBALLS OF FIRE (5) - Close-up in his last three efforts, which suggests a win may come sooner rather than later. Must include.
NEO'S CLASSIC (3) - Ran home well last time to finish into second. That was over a mile. Drops back to 1400m over which he won before.
EDEN GARDEN (10) - Has an okay record at this distance. Last time he had a tough run when he was caught wide. Keep safe.
RACE 2
THEAGENESOFTHASOS (1) - Looked on his way to maiden victory last start, but Justice Smart was the better horse on the day. Will take some beating on that run.
FORESTO (4) - Mixes his form but generally runs creditably. Nice handy draw helps. Crossover-noseband off. Can break maiden status here.
KRANJI GOLD (3) - Must have given fans something to cheer about at the 300m last time out only to be caught by surprise by Dixieland Rock.
SHREDDER (10) - Ran better than expected on debut. May need more runs, but he can still make presence felt here.
RACE 3
HERO I AM (2) - Should be suited by the drop back in company. Never really got involved last start but keep safe.
PRATT STREET (5) - Eased back from a wide stall and was in the end caught wide, tough run but it was good enough to say he's a player here.
ACROSS THE SEA (8) - Last start winner at $16 over 1100m, trainer/jockey combination in good form. So worth following.
ELENA OF AVALOR (9) - Ran on solidly last start without being a winning threat. She has been backed and beaten in the past.
RACE 4
GENERAL MARSHALL (1) - Slightly improved last time out even though he raced keenly. However, 59kgs doesn't make it easy.
SUN FEI (3) - Boxed on well enough last start after being very disappointing in his prior runs when well backed. Watch the market again.
PETITE VOIX (5) - Good recent trial with blinkers on. Led last start and was under pressure a long way from home.
OL MATE BUZZER (8) -Maybe 1100m on the Polytrack may suit with a soft lead. However, he has had his chances recently.
RACE 5
TANNHAUSER (2) - Back from racing in the Stewards' Cup where he was beaten. Back in grade/distance looks to suit him.
DINGHU MOUNTAIN (3) - Got the luck when he required last start. Two wins from his last three suggest he's worth following.
DARC BOUNTY (7) - He hasn't been racing badly at all, just hasn't been able to strike the killer blow. Must include.
TALES OF SUMMER (11) - Since winning a Kranji D back in October last year he hasn't looked back. Biggest test to-date here.
RACE 6
CHAIRMAN WIND (1) - Never won at this distance, but has placed on three occasions. Never looked like winning but it was a solid run.
MONGOLIAN CHIEF (3) - Two wins and three placings from nine runs over 1700m. Bridesmaid in the last two. Should be in the finish.
THE ONE (4) - He was a last-start winner but never seemed to back up from one run to another. Tougher here with rising six points in the ratings.
GRAND PARIS (9) - Has run some okay races recently and was seen boxing away at the one pace last start. Take on trust.
RACE 7
YULONG XIONGYIN (3) - Horse to beat. Two super runs in as many starts. Has the quality to go through with this.
LORD O'REILLY (6) - Classy sort who did not have a good trip in the Singapore Guineas. Did not enjoy the shifty ground. Back in his element. In the mix for a long way.
MOST FAVORITE (12) - Talented sort who did not quite go right at recent runs but set the record straight with a gallant win last time out. No reason why he can't reproduce that form here.
CHARGER (4) - Colt with some ability and who kept finding at his last outing but Filibuster was a few notches superior. Faces similar task but can be a threat inside last 200m. Only question mark is the wide gate.
RACE 8
ELISE (2) - He was only narrowly beaten last start by Mr Hanks. He has been narrowly beaten in the past this course/distance. Not a usual trainer/jockey booking that is seen often.
ARR FLAIR (4) - Missed out last start but his prior form was sound enough to suggest he should be included in the multiples.
BOARD WALK (9) - Hardly ever runs a bad race and more often than not collects a cheque. Good run from a wide stall last start.
OCEAN GENERAL (11) - He has recently had a couple of stall tests at the trials and they have been fair. Has been racing okay of late.
