RACE 1

BRING ME JOY (3) – Carried a light weight last start, didn’t get a clear run between the 300-200m and only just missed.
PETITE VICTOIRE (6) – She is only one of two horses that have won over this distance, wasn’t far away last time out. Wide draw makes it tough.
YELLOW JADE HORSE (4) – He was in the market last start at $18 over 1200m but never really fired, beaten at the 200m.
GOOD BET (8) - Went around last start at $19 and didn’t do much in the home straight. Stepping to 1100m, prior form had been sound enough.

RACE 2

ARC RAIDER (1) – Cherry-ripe for his maiden win. Did his best last time but found one better in Basilisk. Only query is the awkward alley.
CRACKING TOTTIE (8) – Coming into her own. Ran against good sorts like Imperium and Heng Kingdom before. Such runs should put her in good stead in this.
KEEP WINNING (2) – Flew home on turf two runs back but did not go a yard on Polytrack next time out. Can bounce back to form.
TURF PRINCESS (11) – Showed marked improvement when switched to turf second-up. She’s a Daliapour and should appreciate the extra 200m.

RACE 3

LIM’S BULLET (2) – Has been runner-up in his past three performances over 1400m, should be tough to hold out. Fourth time lucky with Vlad Duric on.
PENNSYLVANIA (1) – Second-up here in Singapore and he wasn’t disgraced first-up at all. He began a little awkwardly from a wide stall.
NINETYSEVENEMPEROR (3) – Another who has been runner-up in his last couple of runs and was backed into favouritism last start, follow again.
MASURAO (7) – Last-start winner who got up in the shadows of the post. He was getting close to Class 5, could be worth a look again as he likes 1400m.

RACE 4

ENTHUSE (1) – Won a recent trial (10/4) with the blinker-pacifiers on and looked good. He loves racing over this distance.
BLACK QUAIL (3) – Hasn’t been far away since he won three starts back. Has support and looked every chance last time.
YULONG XIONGYIN (4) – First-up for David Kok, has had four trials for two wins and two placings. Market will be a good guide.
DUSSELDORF (5) – Has joined the Tan Kah Soon stable (ex Baertschiger). 1000m probably will be short of his best on. For the flexi-quartet maybe.

RACE 5

FORESTO (10) – Backed into $12 last start, held a handy position on the fence and was narrowly beaten, big hope here.
SILVER SKY (2) – Ran on well enough last start over 1100m and steps to the mile for the first time. One to consider for multiples despite bad barrier.
RAPTOR (6) – He won a recent trial last week in 62.17. Has raced over the mile in the past and led but never kicked in the straight.
COGNITIVE INTACT (8) – Raced over 1700m last start and boxed on solidly for fourth placing. He should be respected.

RACE 6

WONDERFUL KNIGHT (3) – Has never actually won on the Polytrack, but has run some very nice races in defeat and none more so than his run in early February when second to Nowyousee, Has every chance in this.
MOKASTAR (1) – Can get back to form after easing out of the 3YO Sprint after casting a plate. He has plenty of good Polytrack form and this is more realistic.
TRIGAMY (9) – In great form at present! And if translating his turf form to this surface, he is a big player. Looked good in recent trial too.
HIMALAYA DRAGON (2) – Honest mare and far from disgraced last time out, quartet filler.

RACE 7

LIM’S SAMURAI (5) – Strong performance last start fresh up from a spell. Good enough to go close in this line-up despite the wide gate.
VIVIANO (10) – Runner-up in his past two races, only missed by a narrow margin. Up in grade and will appreciate the 54kgs.
CHALAZA (13) – Raced a fraction keen last start. He never looked like he would be the winner but still ran another solid race.
ABSOLUTE MIRACLE (11) – Lining up for the second time out of the Dan Meagher stable. Recent trial was good behind Nova Swiss.

RACE 8

SEBASTIAN BACH (1) – Got caught in traffic last start at the beginning of March and ran on well after that. A must include.
DON DE LA VEGA (2) – Still not quite there mentally but is a nice strong horse, looked good enough in a recent trial. Watch.
PER INCHARGE (6) – Comes from racing in the 3YO Sprint, was slow out of the gates and should be better suited at this trip.
TURF BEAUTY (8) – Boxed on solidly last start after being checked near the 1200m. She is worth following again in this line-up.
