RACE 1

SUN SEEKER (4) – 0-23, but well supported at his last four starts and runner-up in the latest two, solid claims in this.

GOLDEN COIN (1) – Has shown enough in his two recent runs to suggest he can go well in this.

SOON YI (2) – Handy old moneyspinner for his connections with six wins from 82 starts and ran a pleasing race last time out when back in to Class 5 company, expect more of the same.

BONJOUR BOB (8) – Not the easiest to predict but is in good heart at present and should be there or thereabouts.

RACE 2

LIM’S ZOOM (8) – Has been unfortunate to bump into a couple of decent types in two starts to date (Arc Triumph and Zac Kasa). With conditions to suit, this looks a nice opportunity to get on the scoresheet.

DAVID’S SLING (13) – Chased home a nice type on debut, Imperium who has upheld the form since with a nice third to Lord O’Reilly. Receives a useful weight allowance in this and shouldn’t be far away at all.

WILD BEE (1) – Vet-checked after latest run (no abnormalities), although a beaten favourite he ran well enough. He will be better suited to the turf as his best run to-date has been over C/D when second to Shamrock in February.

SACRED MAGIC (10) – Not unfancied on debut and was seen to run on well in the style of a horse that should improve with racing, has trialled nicely since that run and could offer up a bit of value here.

RACE 3

ELENA OF AVALOR (1) – The 1000m may have been too sharp for her last time. Improver who will make her presence felt here.

HERO STAR (5) – Closed in nicely first-up for fourth to Yulong Fast Steed. Can include in calculations.

OCEAN MASTER (9) – Still winless but turned in one of his best performances last time out. Looks in good shape on training tracks. Keep safe.

MILLION ROUND (11) – Flew home late at his last run even when rising in grade. Can make the quartet with a bit of luck.

RACE 4

LUCKY TIGER (1) – Two seconds from as many starts. Nice gate. Hard to beat.

SWIFT EMBRACE (4) – Making slow headway. Has gone through many gear changes. Back to basics this time – no gear on. Watch out.

DRAGONITE (5) – Ran best race to-date over seven furlongs last time. Will give chase at business end.

WIRA SAKTI (2) – Tried to make all at his last start but weakened late. Winning turn not far off. Will be in the firing line.

RACE 5

LIM’S RACER (1) – Should have scored last time out, but hung out under pressure. Worth another shot.

THE CAPITAL (3) - Lunged late but just missed out last time out. Drawn off the track, but is still a leading hope if he reproduces last-start form here.

TESORO PRIVADO (7) – Had every chance last time out. Always right in the mix. Up against strong company again. Worth a bet.

ON ELECTRIC AVENUE (2) – Rises in class. Looks to have maintained his form. Stiffer task but not without claims.

RACE 6

EVERYBODY HAPPY (1) – Ran home in a very good closing sectional of 22.22 on local debut when second to rejuvenated Trigamy over C/D. A reproduction of that performance can see him win this.

QUARTER BACK (8) – Was very good on debut when scoring over the 1000m on the Polytrack in February. The step-up in distance looks sure to suit given his pedigree and looks a very progressive type for the future.

GAIN ECLIPSE (9) – A winner in Kuala Lumpur on debut for Frank Maynard last October and backed that up with a smart trial win here on March 15 beating Basilisk (winner last week), looks an above average filly who can make the grade here in the Lion City.

IFFRAGAL (3) – Group-placed at best but still yet to win one. Has now joined the in-form Michael Clements stable and can make the frame in this grade.

RACE 7

CHOPIN’S FANTAISIE (1) – Bled when fifth in the Raffles Cup last October. He is the class act in the line-up and has proven himself more than capable when fresh and this would be the time to catch him.

KINGSMAN (7) – Finished just ahead of subsequent Group 3 runner-up Elite Invincible last time and in the process runner-up to Chalaza (can reverse form here). If able to run a similar closing sectional of 22.45, he will be bang in there.

CHALAZA (3) – Has teamed up to great effect with Ryan Curatolo in 2018 and comes into this race in superb form and is entitled to play a part in the finish. Wouldn’t mind some cut in the ground also.

DRACO (6) – Model of consistency who never knows how to run a bad race. He would, however, have something to prove over this trip but his run in the iRACE Classic was full of merit last time out over slightly shorter.

RACE 8

TERRIFIC (4) – There was plenty to like about the way he scored his maiden win at his third start. This is harder but if he comes through, he could be a late joker in the 3YO series.

ABEBE (7) – Underlined potential at debut with fast-closing third. Will relish mile. In the hunt for a long way.

ZA’EEM (1) – Kept attacking the line, albeit without threatening the winner Claudia’s Beauty last time out. Blinkers back on. Badly drawn but if they run along, he can deal a late blow.

HENG KINGDOM (2) – Scored hard-fought win over 1400m last time. Extra 200m will be up his alley. Good barrier. Commands respect.

RACE 9

COUNTOFMONTECRISTO (1) – Champion 3YO has been working a treat. Goes well fresh. Gives weight all round but can score first-up.

SUPER FORTUNE (7) – One of the most consistent sprinters around. Light weight a huge bonus. Biggest threat to Countofmontecristo even if a lower draw would have been better.

SPEEDY DRAGON (3) – Unsighted since New Year Cup romp. In slashing form at barrier trials. Can give Countofmontecristo a run for his money.

ARAMCO (6) – Resuming since gallant third to Clarton Super in the Group 2 EW Barker Trophy (1400m). Looks in good nick. Outside chance.

RACE 10

BLACK QUAIL (5) – On what seemed a slightly disappointing run on first inspection last time out at odds of $11 when only third to the in-form Typhon, that run can perhaps be upgraded given that he might just have needed it after three months off. He has won second-up and expect a big run here.

COPACABANA (6) – Not beaten all that far on his first run of the year last start, should strip fitter and has definite claims on the pick of his form.

FEROCIOUS (13) – Finished just ahead of the selection when they last met under a month ago. Certainly not guaranteed to confirm those placings here and can be slow away from time to time.

EASTIGER (12) – Won very nicely when breaking the maiden tag on his most recent outing. A little more is required here but is a must for the quartet.
