RACE 1
LUCKY BOY (4) – Back down in grade. Flying third to River Golden three runs back. River Golden won last Friday, making that form look good.
AMISTAD (9) – Always a threat when left alone upfront. Likely to assume that role again from barrier No 2. Follow again.
YELLOW JADE HORSE (8) – Showed marked improvement at last start when blinkers dropped. Blinkers back on. This looks easier and he should have some sort of a say.
D’DON (2) – Resuming. Four barrier trials under the belt. Looks fit enough to make a forward comeback.

RACE 2
LORD O’REILLY (9) – Found trouble mid-race on debut and did a good job to run into the quartet. Big strong horse who will be fitter now and will benefit from two handy recent trials. Big improver.
BEAUTIFUL DAY (8) – Has been right in the market at his only two outings, having no luck sitting deep last start. Drawn to get a beautiful run and should get every chance with senior rider Benny Woodworth on.
LONHRO GOLD (1) – Finally draws a decent gate after working too hard to get to the front last start. Having his first go at 1400m and if he runs the trip strongly he’ll go close to securing a deserved first win.
ROUGHEAD (2) – Beautiful draw and he should run the trip out strongly having placed at a mile in November 2017. Has had a few trials in preparation for this and the market should be watched closely as his trainer Cliff Brown has three runners in the race.

RACE 3
MR DUJARDIN (6) – Looking for more ground. Blinkers to get him to follow closer. Will run on at business end.
THIRD ROCK (5) – Came from last at his last outing but was too far back to worry the winner. Trip is right up his alley.
FALKIRK LEAD (8) – Found her finish last start when blinkers dropped. If she reproduces that form here, she will be a major factor.
O’WHAT A FEEELING (3) – Tried to go all the way last time out but compounded late. Drops back to 1800m. Probably better off ridden quieter.

RACE 4
AEOLUS (3) – Overdue for his maiden win. Runner-up at last three starts. At least one of them could have been a win. Big say.
SUN SEEKER (1) – Still winless after 21 starts but has come close a few times of late. There is a race for him soon.
FLYING SHADOW (2) – Recent form not exactly inspiring, but on a good day, he can account for half of this lot. With some luck, he can pinch a place here.
GOOD BET (9) – Produced arguably his career-best at his last start when a fighting third to Obstacles Free. Well drawn and would not surprise if he makes presence felt here.

RACE 5
KING LOUIS (6) – Hard to get past this strapping Medaglia d’Oro three-year-old. Stormed home late and just came up short at his third run. Leading chance.
ONLY WIN (3) – Has improved by leaps and bounds. Bidding for a three-in-a-row but faces stiffer task. Still solid place claims.
ELITE BEAST (4) – Not without ability. Warms up when race is all over. Chance if he gets on his bike earlier.
YULONG XIONG HU (9) – Impressive debut winner but this is much harder. Has done nothing wrong since and is still worth a place chance.

RACE 6
ARC TRIUMPH (5) – Opened account last start. Plenty of upsides. Marble one and can take it to next level.
PREFERRED (12) – Has been hitting around the mark without winning for a while. Loves the trip. Will be right in the mix.
ELITE GENERAL (1) – Every chance at his last run but did not quicken when it mattered. Blinker-pacifiers on. Not without a say.
MASTER OF MALIBU (3) – Seems to handle Polytrack better. Drawn in the middle. Chances enhanced if he can get a soft lead.

RACE 7
STUNNING CAT (5) – Now two from two here in Singapore and was very impressive on this surface last time out, can continue to improve now up in grade.
CAPTAIN JAMIE (3) – Only beaten a whisker in his last two starts, looked impressive when winning recent trial and can go very close here.
YABADABADOO (8) – Creditable 2nd on return last month and the step-up to 1200m is a positive, must for quartet.
ANCIENT WARRIOR (2) – Holding decent form of late and given he is in good heart he should run another sound race.

RACE 8
HONOR (7) – Blinkers seem to have sharpened up this Rip Van Winkle mare. Will be charging home when the whips are cracking.
INVINCIBLE MAN (3) – Ran encouraging race last time out. Nice barrier again. Should be able to issue a decent challenge in straight.
DASH (2) – Let down nicely for third place at his last outing. Will relish extra 100m. In the firing line for a long way.
ALARANCH (5) – Give her another chance back on Polytrack. Will be hard to peg back if she has her way in front. Drawn awkwardly, though.
