Stella Ombra looks ready to fire third up when he lines up in the Open Handicap over 1050m at Doomben on Saturday.
Coming off two listed runs, the Kelly Schweida-trained runner had no luck first up in the Bribie before a much improved effort when running a close fourth to Snitzkraft in the Falvelon Quality. Read More

Randwick: Race 7 @ 4:20pm

We’ll walk on the wild side this Saturday at Randwick and give a couple of costly ones another chance to deliver.

Flemington: Race 6 @ 4:00pm

In what should come as a shock to no one, the Darren Weir stable looks to hold a strong hand going to Flemington this Saturday. Chief among their string of leading chances (in the view of the Melbourne Mail anyway) is the favourite in the sixth race on the card, Handsome Thief.
Handsome Thief was left with too much to do first up at Caulfield but he closed the race off strongly and will be much better suited out to 1200m now. Read More
