The match at Craven Cottage comes four days after Australia meet Norway in Oslo in another warm up for Russia.

"We are excited to have secured the match against Colombia, which offers us a good challenge against strong South American opposition leading into the FIFA World Cup," said Football Federation Australia boss David Gallop.

Colombia, featuring Bayern Munich star James Rodriguez and Monaco's Radamel Falcao, were the fourth-ranked South American team in World Cup qualification, behind Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.

They were beaten by hosts Brazil at the 2014 World Cup in the quarter-finals.

Australia has a strong recent record at Fulham home ground Craven Cottage, beating Canada 3-0 in 2013, Nigeria 1-0 in 2008 and South Africa 5-0 in 2005.

Their last meeting with Colombia in 2001 ended in a 3-2 loss in Bogota.
