Monday, 20 November 2017: Post race stewards reports from NSW and Victorian meetings.

VICTORIA
MORNINGTON November 13
Race 4: Holy Mind - the Mick Price stable advised that following its disappointing performance, the filly would now be spelled.
ARARAT November 12
Race 8: Valhalla Princess - trainer Dan OSullivan advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on with its preparation.
BENALLA November 12
Race 6: Tennessee Gold - the Weir stable advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on with its preparation.
GEELONG November 11
Race 6: Etah James - trainer Matt Cumani advised that the mare pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on with its preparation.
FLEMINGTON November 9
Race 7: Woulda Thought So - the Hayes/Dabernig stable advised that the gelding pulled up satisfactorily but will now be sent for a spell.
WARRNAMBOOL November 9
Race 7: The Mexican - the stable advised that the gelding pulled up satisfactorily but will now be sent for a spell.
KYNETON November 8
Race 8: Temps Voleur - the Laing stable advised that the gelding pulled up satisfactorily but will now be sent for a spell.
FLEMINGTON November 7
Race 7: Marmelo - the stable advised that the horse pulled up satisfactorily and will now be returning to the UK.
ECHUCA November 7
Race 7: Itchy Nee - the Corstens stable advised that in the ensuing days a boil had come up on the geldings wither and has been treated accordingly.
BALLARAT November 6
RACE 2: Reliable Magic - Trainer advised the horse had pulled up well, however, may have choked down and he would consider applying a tongue tie.
RACE 7: Cryfowl – Connections advised Cryfowl had jarred up a little following the race. It was now the intention to freshen up the horse and continue with the preparation

CANTERBURY November 17
Race 1: Semper Fidelis - a follow-up veterinary examination of the filly conducted by Racing NSW Official Veterinarian Dr T Selig did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 4: Reward For Fashion – a follow-up veterinary examination conducted by Racing NSW Official Veterinarian Dr T Selig found the mare to be lame in the off-foreleg. Trainer Tim Martin was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to Reward For Fashion racing again.
Empress Matilda - a follow-up veterinary examination of the filly conducted by Racing NSW Official Veterinarian Dr T Selig did not reveal any abnormalities.
Race 8: Think Like A Bird - a follow-up veterinary examination of the mare conducted by Racing NSW Official Veterinarian Dr T Selig did not reveal any abnormalities.
HAWKESBURY November 9
RACE 4: Zegota – trainer Brad Widdup reported that the filly underwent a thorough veterinary examination, including scoping, which revealed no abnormalities. Widdup advised that he would barrier trial Zegota prior to it racing again.
RACE 7: Red Excitement – trainer Gerald Ryan advised that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and will consult with the owners on its immediate racing future.
Fabrizio – co-trainer Adrian Bott advised that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and would look to experiment with its gear prior to its next start.
RANDWICK November 7
RACE 1: Devil's Lair – trainer Chris Waller advised he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the colt and reported that it would be gelded and spelled.
RACE 4: Fencourt – trainer John Sargent advised that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and will drop it back in distance at its next start, whereby he will remove the blinkers and add pacifiers to the gelding's gear.
Hoof Hustler – trainer Chris Waller advised he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding, however it will now be spelled.
RACE 9: Lord Macau – co-trainer Adrian Bott advised that he was satisfied with the post-race condition of the gelding and it is the stable's intention to continue on with its preparation.
ROSEHILL November 4
RACE 6: Victime De L'Amore – J Webb, foreman for trainer Tim Martin, advised that a veterinary examination of the gelding, including scoping, revealed no abnormalities. Webb reported that the gelding was however displaying some soreness over the region of its back and will undergo chiropractic care.
