The Cliff Brown-trained runner returned in terrific order with a win in a Class 4 over 1100m last start and has been given a month between runs.

Deimos  finished runner up in a recent barrier trial over 1000m and also measured up okay in Group company last campaign.

Was well held in the Singapore Guineas prior to a spell however form prior to that over the shorter trips behind Countofmontecristo was pretty good and this shapes up as a much easier task today.

The son of Showcasing closed nicely when winning over the 1100m last start and building a good career record can go on with it now and prove very hard to hold out.

Lucky Stride  shapes up as the main danger after closing well to finish runner up to Dream Comes True in the same company over 1100m last start.

Form prior to that was mixed however expecting him to appreciate the step up to 1200m, with all three previous wins over the 1400m trip and he looks more than capable of going on with things now.

Expect the Bruce Marsh-trained runner to settle back in the field once again today and if he gets a genuine tempo up front which he should then he will be hitting the line strongly once again.

His last start effort certainly rates well against his rivals today and if he can run up to that level again and maybe even improve he looks a genuine chance to return to the winners circle.

There appears to be a host of place chances outside of these two, including En Civil  who comes into the race off a solid third behind Certainly in a 67 over this trip.

Gets back on to the Polytrack where he has won previously and his last start effort certainly brings him into the mix today.

Drawn well in barrier 4, expect the six-year-old gelding to settle off the leaders once again and will certainly be getting to the line strongly having won over 1700m previously.

Only has the four wins from 44 starts but has placed a further 17 times and would not be surprised to see him in the finish but unlikely to be getting past Deimos.

Good luck!
