Sprinter Caleb Ewan looks to an event packed 2018

Monday, 13 November 2017: Star Cyclist Caleb Ewan is looking forward to a busy 2018 where he would appreciate the opportunity to win a commonwealth title in the road race on the Gold Coast.

The upcoming year is promising to present a tight schedule for the top sprinter with the National Road Championships, The Tour Down Under and Race Melbourne lined up in the short term.
His next destination will be Europe with a Penitential Tour de France debut depending on the proceedings at Giro d'Italia.
The Commonwealth Games men's road race is scheduled to be held in April and is bound to clash with Spring Classics in Europe conducted at the same time.
According to Ewan the timing of the races could have been better but he looks forward to represent Australia in the Commonwealth Games.
Robbie McEwen, the Australian sprinter great and Tour de France green jersey winner is optimistic about Ewan‘s chances at the road race on the Gold Coast.
According to McEwen, Ewan is capable of getting around the tough and uneven course to possibly win it in this vey tactical team race.
